Extra long beaded earrings "Purple"
Extra long beaded earrings "Purple"
Dusk does not arrive all at once. It comes down in strands — first the pale lilac of the early evening, then rose, then the deep purple of the garden after sunset, and last the near-black plum of night itself. These earrings wear that hour, strand by strand.
Each earring is a cascade of long seed-bead threads, shaded from light to dark, that pours from the ear wire and moves the way dusk moves: slowly, with every turn of the head. Row after patient row, thread after thread — no two strands carry quite the same sequence.
No two identical. Arrives gift-ready.
Sold as a pair. Czech glass seed beads, stainless-steel ear hooks. Recommendations: do not wet, protect from chemicals and perfume, store hanging or flat so the strands stay untangled. All items are handcrafted, so measurements are approximate, colors can vary and each one is unique.

Folk motifs carry meanings older than writing — poppies guard the home, wheat calls the harvest, birds watch over travellers.

Field note № 7
Beads for the night side
Black glass has a long memory: Victorian mourning jewellery was strung from it, and a black-ground gerdan makes every red burn brighter. Our skulls, bats and serpents are beaded exactly like the poppies — the same seed beads, the same hands in Ukraine — only the motifs have changed.
